Man! What a slow year. Nothing much has been happening at all. Except I do have some sad news. In December, my cat Stormy, who I'm sure most of you recall from my previous journal entries, died. We thought she was pregnant due to the cat we recently adopted (we didn't know he was male; he was so young he hadn't developed). Turns out, her swollen belly was bacterial fluid. Once the fluid build-up starts to happen, there's nothing they can do. :( Poor girl. She was sick for so long. Goldie hasn't been taking it horribly well. He spens most of his time outside, and when he is inside, he's very sluggish and always seems like he's sad. He always used to run around the house playing, but he never does anymore. I don't know how to help him. I feel so sad for him. :(
How has 2010 been treating you all, my lovely readers? :) I do hope it turns up on my ends. I can't bear another 2009, I'll turn over on my back if I have to endure a repeat of that year.
A lot of wrong was done to me in 2009, a lot of wrong that I wouldn't dream of forgiving if I weren't a Christian. I find that I've forgiven the people, but not their actions. While it may take time to forgive those actions, my resolution is to at least forget them. By forgetting, I stop letting myself suffer over it. Otherwise, those people win. My resolutions are to take control of my life instead of letting others steer it in their own direction, and to forget. Here's to these goals for the New Year.
